Naseem Darbey's beautiful display of her dramatic yet delicate and beautiful lace pieces are currently in showcase at The Bowes Museum in County Durham.
Exploring a relationship between drawing and textiles, she has created these 3D structures using stitchwork.

DOWN IN LONDON TOWN

New Designers came and went very quickly and was just as exciting as every one said it would be.   All four days were full of interesting people from industry and it seemed that our stand (Nottingham Trent) was one of the most popular with everyone getting a good bit of interest and opportunity for the future.

MIX IT UP

Adding variety to my leather jewellery collection, I have introduced a small range of bracelets varying in colour.  New colours include bronze, pewter, midnight and a beautiful reversible blue suede (light to cobalt blue).  All can be worn alone or mix n matched with each other depending on what you fancy that day.

Today I found out I'm off to New Designers in three weeks.  Very exciting stuff!!  Time to get cracking and get back into the designer head ready for it now that I have booked my flight to get there!
